Backpack Medicine

This week, our Backpack Medicine team of dedicated doctors, nurses, and Behavioral Health staff came together to provide essential medical care and testing through outreach to members of the unhoused community in Simi Valley.

We were grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside community leaders including Ventura County Supervisor Janice Parvin, County Executive Officer Dr. Sevet Johnson, and Deputy Executive Officer and Homelessness Solutions Director Kimberlee Albers, along with the Sheriff’s Department and Simi Valley Police Department, who joined us in supporting this important work.

When healthcare professionals, local leaders, and community partners come together in service of the community, real impact happens. 💙
