Meet Scarlett! Scarlett is this month's Client Feature at the Samaritan Center! Scarlett’s path into homelessness began while she was caring for her father, who was a constant source of love and support in her life. At the same time, her mother was struggling with mental health challenges, and Scarlett could no longer remain in her mother’s home. Despite doing everything she could for her family, Scarlett found herself without stable housing. In 2021, her father sadly passed

Although, Michael is not pictured he encouraged us to share photos of those who help make breakfast happen every day. Michael has been coming to the Samaritan Center for breakfast while he has been experiencing homelessness, and he says it’s become one of the few things he can count on.
