Our grocery driver volunteers go above and beyond to make food rescue possible. Sometimes using their own vehicles, they visit local grocery stores to pick up rescued food and ensure it reaches our community safely and quickly. Because of their hard work, good food does not go to waste and more neighbors have access to the nourishment they need. We are incredibly grateful for every mile driven, every load carried, and every moment given.

This week, our community is taking part in the annual Point in Time Homeless Count, a vital effort to better understand the number of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. At the same time, her mother was struggling with mental health challenges, and Scarlett could no longer remain in her mother’s home.
