Why Donate to The Samaritan Center?
Your gift, no matter the form, allows us to provide for the most basic needs of individuals, veterans and families we serve in our community. It allows us to provide case management, meals, showers, laundry services and other services to our clients and pantry opportunities to those in our community. Things most of us take for granted.
We have been evaluated by Charity Navigator, the world’s largest and most trusted nonprofit evaluator, and scored 100%, earning a Four-Star Rating; their highest rating!
We have also been evaluated by Candid, an informational service database specializing in reporting on U.S. nonprofit companies. The Samaritan Center was awarded the PLATINUM Seal of Transparency; their highest transparency rating!
You can give with confidence knowing that we have been independently evaluated for effectively stewarding donations and are committed to transparency about our financials.

Thanks to our partnership with Every.org, we now accept non-cash donations in stocks, cryptocurrencies, and donor-advised fund (DAF) contributions.
These giving methods are not only simple and secure, but they may also offer valuable tax advantages. For example, donating appreciated stocks or crypto directly can help you avoid capital gains tax while maximizing your impact.
