Client Story: Michael

Although, Michael is not pictured he encouraged us to share photos of those who help make breakfast happen every day.

Michael has been coming to the Samaritan Center for breakfast while he has been experiencing homelessness, and he says it’s become one of the few things he can count on. The warm meal and kind faces give him a sense of stability and dignity at the start of each day. He shared that he appreciates how the breakfast is different every morning and that it’s well balanced. “Breakfast here gives me strength to face the day. It reminds me that I’m not invisible, and that I still matter.” Michael expressed the importance of having the stability of knowing where he can find a hot meal throughout the week.
