Thom came to the U.S. from Vietnam in 1980. Thom’s sponsor at the time got her a job despite not knowing any English. Thom learned the English language while working and taking care of her daughter. In April 2023 she came to the Samaritan Center with her daughter to volunteer and has been volunteering twice a week ever since. Thom assists with pantry tasks that include prepping and distributing pantry boxes to clients. Thom enjoys connecting with other volunteers and clients and is always eager to lend a hand when help is needed. Thank you Thom for you dedication and hard work!
