Sarai has lived in Simi Valley for most of her life. She is a mom of 2 kids and previously worked as a retail manager for 8 years. Sarai started to volunteer at age 15 at a pantry and heard about the Samaritan Center through other volunteers. She began volunteering off and on at the Samaritan Center since 2007 and assisted with pick up and delivering groceries. After 8 years of retail management Sarai became the Samaritan’s Center Pantry Coordinator in August of 2023. What Sarai loves most about being Pantry Coordinator is connecting with clients and seeing the positive difference she is attributing to at the Samaritan Center.
